Towards the end of 2013 we held our annual client satisfaction survey and the results came in just in time to kick-start 2014. A big Thank you for trusting us and giving SiteGround outstanding satisfaction ratings again, this time exceeding the results from the year before.
Last month we had the first SiteGround Open Bar – an informal meetup with clients that held place in Orlando, USA! This initiative gave us the opportunity to get to know our clients better in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere and hopefully, helped our customers see who we are and what we stand for. As we want to grow this initiative and meet many more of you in your own town or nearby, we ask you to vote for our next open bar locations.
Less than a month since launching multiple currencies and local phone lines in Europe, we continue to make our services more accessible for international clients. It’s time for some awesome news for our customers from Australia. Starting this month we now accept payments in Australian Dollars (AUD), we have an Australian toll-free phone and also offer a free .com.au domain with new accounts. All these new improvements help clients avoid exchange rate fluctuations, reach our Customer Service more easily and without overseas charges and get a special country domain name. More local currencies, phone lines and country-specific services coming soon, so stay tuned!
We’ve had it planned for a long time, but now it’s finally for real! We are getting closer to our customers and enhancing our local presence with custom country-specific offers. Starting with Europe, we are adding local phone numbers, offering more country-specific domains and accepting payments in more currencies. As of September, all customers from the UK will be charged in GBP and customers from the rest of Europe will be charged in EURO. We’ve launched local phone lines for the UK, The Netherlands, France, Italy, Spain, Greece, Germany, Austria, and Belgium and the rest of Europe will be able to reach us at a centralized UK number. We have also expanded our country-specific domains portfolio and offer some of them for free with a new account to clients from the respective country. We are working towards adding even more currencies, local phone numbers and country-specific services in the future, so stay tuned.

In 2012, SiteGround more than ever put the focus on people – both on our clients and our employees. That’s why, in line with the “more-for-the-people” theme of the past twelve months, we also decided to do our end-of-the-year party a little differently.
