SiteGround Launches a Series of Specialized Tutorials

SiteGround.com has started a series of specialized tutorials. The company prepares manuals for all of the most popular open-source CMS, blogs, and forums, used on its servers. You can find tutorials about Mambo, osCommerce, phpBB, Moodle, WordPress, Zen cart and Zoom gallery already online: SiteGround Tutorials

SiteGround has chosen this unusual direction as a way to providing a more comprehensive customer care that goes beyond the expert technical support. “We have many customers that would like to use Mambo, Moodle, Zen cart or something else, but they don’t even know how to start and feel helpless. They can always post a ticket and we will give them the solution. Yet, it is much better for them to know how to create a web site by themselves,” says Kate Michaels, the Sales Manager. The idea of these detailed and very basic tutorials is allow anyone interested in the software to use it for his/her website.

Every tutorial is a proprietary compilation. It is certainly based on the official documentation of that software, but has one very big advantage. Each SiteGround tutorial addresses real problems, encountered by SiteGround customers using that software. “We invested a lot of time to organize and generalize the problems posted in our Ticketing System. Then we prepared very detailed answers, which are the essence of our tutorials,” says Tom Nickolson, the Support Supervisor.
